Finally The Colombian team arrived in KTM on Wednesday 30th may 2007.They have done great job with couple of new records setting in the Colombian mountaineering history. Among the 9 summit climbers, 5 reached on the top of the world “summit of Mt Everest”. The team reached on the summit of Mt Everest on date 24th may, 5.00am Nepali time except Mr Luis Felipe Ossa Rodriguez reached on the summit 23rd may, 6.30am Nepali time with out support of O2.

Mr Juan Pablo Ruiz Sato: Leader of the expedition & second time on the summit of Mt Everest. Summit time 24th may, 5.00am
Ms Katty Guzman Perez, Ms Ana Maria Giraldo Gomez, Ms Monica Bernal Bonilla, these 3 ladies sep up wonderful new records in the Colombian mountaineering history, they are the first ladies from Colombia to be on the top of the world “summit of Mt Everest”. The ladies are pride of the Colombia because of their remarkable job.
Mr Luis Felipe Ossa Rodriguez: this man also set up the new record in the history of Colombian mountaineering expedition. he is the first man from Colombia reached on the summit of Mt Everest without using the oxygen’s.
Jyamchang Bhote, Ngawang Karshang Sherpa, Dorjee Khatri & Ang nuru Sherpa together reached on the summit of Mt Everest with main team on same date & time 24th may, 5.00 am.
Now a days the are roaming around the KTM & trying to fixed up the flight for home.

Luis Felipe Ossa summit yesterday alone and without supplementary oxygen, and this is his first 8000 summit.
Also the 3 Colombian girls from the expedition sumited this sunrise

We have received the phone call from the summit of Mt Everest North side & reported that two Colombian members + 2 climbing sherpas (name not identified) of ARUN team had made the summit of Mt Everest this morning. More summit push is going on in the field. Will up dates the more summit news shortly.

Three ABC/North Col members of our Colombian Everest team (Marcelo, Carlos & Guillermo) departed for Tibet today at 5 am from Hotel thamel, KTM. They will have over night at Nyalam today & Tingri day after & straight to Everest BC the following day. They are really excited to meet with the main expedition team at ABC. The Colombian team have planned to make the summit attempt at the end of may but depends upon the summit weather window.
20th April
This time we are operating a big private Colombian North Everest Expedition to Tibet. Most of the Colombians are export mountaineers. Additionally some of the members had already done the Everest summit. Expedition members arrived in KTM on 9th/10th/11th & 13th April & move for Tibet on 17th April 2007.
They reached to the Everest base camp very safely after long driving all the way from Nepal/China border Zangmu.
The Expedition is leading by Juan Pablo Ruiz. There are 9 summit climber & 4 ABC expedition members.
Till today they are very safe in the mountain & enjoying the life on the foot of Mt Everest. The following are expedition members.
